Do you want to have a thriving Christian life?  Most of us do.  Meeting people in the church, getting to know them, and then becoming involved in the various ministries of the church will go along way in helping you achieve the goal of having that healthy Christian life.  We invite you to consider joining Maranatha Baptist Church as we work together for Christ.

There are several ways you can join our church.

1- By statement of faith, affirming that you are a believer in Christ and that you have been baptized.  Click HERE for an explanation of what it means to be a believer in Christ.

2- By transfer of letter from a church of like faith.

3- By baptism, signifying outwardly the inward decision you have made to follow Christ.

There are several ways for you to meet and get to know other people at Maranatha.

1)  Join A Sunday School Class- There are several Sunday School classes that are designed to teach and challenge you as well as provide opportunities to discuss biblical issues with others.

2) Participate In Our Fellowship Activities- Periodically, we will have lunch following the Sunday morning worship service.  We also have a desert fellowship every fifth Sunday following the 5:00 pm service.  In addition, we have cookouts and other fellowship activities to help provide opportunities to meet and get to know each other better.

There are also several ways for you to be involved in the ministry of Maranatha.

1) Serve In Children's Ministry- We are looking to add children's Sunday School classes in the fall and will be needing teachers for those classes.  We are also planning to add new children's program on Wednesday evenings starting September 8th.  This program will also require additional volunteers.  There are also opportunities to serve in our nursery program.

2) Serve In The Hospital Ministry- Our church provides around 100 meals to those in the hospital the 3rd Tuesday of every month.

3) Serve In The Music Ministry- Each Sunday we have choir specials as well as solos, duets, or ensembles.  If you are musical, there are opportunities for you to get plugged in.

4) Serve In A Teaching Capacity- As our church grows we will be adding additional adult Sunday School classes.  If you are gifted to teach, then this may be an opportunity for you.
