"Discovery Kids” is the name of our children’s program. While the primary focus of this ministry will be the Wednesday evening program it will also overflow into and be connected with our children’s church and Sunday School programs as well. There is still a lot to be done, but we are very excited about the direction and future of our children’s ministry.  This exciting program will feature Bible lessons, puppets, singing, flannel graph, powerpoint games, and much much more.   

 
 
 
 
 
Features Of The Wednesday Evening "Discovery Kids" Program

·         Group welcome and songs
·         Group lesson- Puppets, flannel graph, as well as media will be used
·         Class room time- Scripture memory and more detailed teaching
·         Game time- Powerpoint and other exciting truth-enforcing games
 
Goals For Discovery Kids
 
·         We desire to provide a place for children in our church to discover the truth of God’s Word.
·         We desire to reach out to the children in our community.
·         We desire to connect the families of children to our church.
·         We desire to teach Bible truth not just Bible stories.                                 
 

Children are important to the ministry of Maranatha.  It is for that reason that we are striving to offer a variety of programs that are geared for children of all ages. Here is what we currently offer:

  • An updated and well-equppied nursery for newborns through age 3. This nursery is available for all services.
  • A Sunday School class for ages 4-6.
  • A Sunday School class for ages 7-10.
  • Children's Church on Sunday morning for ages 3-6.
  • Wednesday Evening "Discovery Kids" program for ages 4-10.
